First Aliyah Museum
The museum is housed in the “Administration House,” which was built in 1894 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild’s administrators and was considered the largest and most magnificent building in the Land of Israel at the time. The building had two high floors and a balcony overlooking the street. The second floor had a magnificent hall, paved with black and white marble. This building was the administrative center for all the settlements in the area.

Aaronson House - NILI Museum
The Aaronson House – NILI museum documents and preserves the legacy of the Aaronson family and members of the NILI underground, tells the story of their heroism and courage, and commemorates their work and contribution to the end of Ottoman rule and the entry of the British into the Land of Israel. Every year, the museum is visited by many visitors, including students, young and old, IDF soldiers, citizens, and tourists, who learn in this way an important and glorious chapter in the history of the people and the land.

Mey Kedem - Alona
Mey Kedem (Ancient Water) is a unique archaeological site situated in The Alona Park, a protected nature area of Mediterranean forest, which lies in Moshav Amikam. Between Haifa and Tel-Aviv, near Cesaria. In Mey Kedem there’s an ancient underground tunnel, built by the romans about
2,000 years ago. The visitors walk through this underground tunnel in the water. The height of the water is between 40cm to 70cm. Each tour takes about 45 minutes to one hour. It is recommended to bring torches, a change of clothes and footwear suitable for walking in water.

The memorial is a lookout overlooking the sea, located at the end of a public park in Zichron Yaakov. Beside the railing, a plaque stands with the title “A Beautiful Son Was Born on the Shoulder of the Carmel,” accompanied by a photo and details of the fallen soldier, as well as information about the memorial. Among other things, it says: “To this place, Gal used to come to check the wind and waves along the coast – and decide if it was a good day and sea for surfing. The winds blowing from the sea, the open spaces, and the tranquility of this place symbolize Gal’s spirit…”

Dedicated to the memory of Baron Benjamin Edmond de Rothschild and his wife, who are buried at the heart of the gardens, Ramat Hanadiv offers a striking contrast between a cultivated oasis and the surrounding wild nature.

Recommended for a pleasant family outing of 1-2 hours in a charming landscape. Free admission and ample parking.
